The popular culture groups of Catalonia take centre stage in several days filled with colour, music, and tradition. These ensembles will fill the surroundings of the Sagrada Família with their performances, showcasing the richness and diversity of the country’s festive heritage. A living, shared tribute to Gaudí, who always recognised in popular culture a genuine expression of the soul of the people.
There will be performances by castellers, sardana dancers, esbarts, falcons, giants, trabucaires, correfocs, and devils, among others. All activities will take place outside, in front of the Nativity Façade, creating an atmosphere of open, communal festivity deeply rooted in Catalan culture.
