A great festive and community atmosphere was created

Catalan popular culture once again filled the area around the Sagrada Familia this Saturday, 3 October, with a festive day open to everyone. In the morning, it was the turn of the falcons, gegants and esbarts. All the activities took place outdoors, creating a festive and community atmosphere. It was a celebration of the diversity of Catalonia’s festive heritage.

The participating groups were: Falcons de Barcelona, Falcons de Piera, Esbart Gaudí, Esbart Sant Martí, Gegants Colla Fal·lera, Gegantera Sagrada Familia, Gegants Colla l’Ocellaire, Gegants del Clot, Gegants Colla Gegantera de la Verneda – Sant Martí, Gegants de Gràcia, Gegants Colla Gegantera de la Vila de Piera, Gegants de Vilassar de Mar and Gegants Colla Gegantera Fal·lera Gironina.
