Moment 4 of the Commemoration kicks off with a buzz of activity
2026 has already been a year full of excitement, but there are still events to come for the general public that will round off a brilliant few months.
On 5 September, Valls will pay tribute to Antoni Gaudí with an institutional and popular event at the Basilica of the Sagrada Família. Promoted by the Valls City Council with collaboration from the Junta Constructora de la Sagrada Família, the day will celebrate the historical relationship between the architect, the Temple and Valls, the capital of Alt Camp county.
From 18 September to 31 December, an exhibition will be held that traces the key moments of this shared dream and highlights the collective efforts that have made it possible.
On 19 September, popular culture groups will perform with a shared theme highlighting the historical, social and cultural importance of this commemoration.
On 26 September, popular culture groups from Catalonia will once again take centre stage at several events full of colour, music and tradition. These groups will fill the Sagrada Família’s surroundings with their performances, showcasing the richness and diversity of the country’s festive heritage.
Cobla Sant Jordi will also give a special performance.
On 3 October, popular culture will once again feature in a festive day open to everyone. In the morning, there will be falcons, esbarts and gegants. In the evening, the trabucaires and correfoc parade will take over.
